WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE MY EXAMINATION?

All new patients will be scheduled for a complimentary consultation (a conversation) with the doctor of chiropractic. After the consultation, the patient will be given the choice to undergo a thorough Specific Segmental Corrective Chiropractic Examination. This examination is a detailed assessment performed by the doctor of chiropractic; not by an assistant, nurse, intern, or junior doctor. As it is a comprehensive examination, please allocate at least 45 minutes of your time.

Examination procedures utilised at CORRECTIVE CHIROPRACTIC include:-

  • Photographic structural evaluation
  • Specialised analysis of weight-bearing spinal radiography (X-Rays)
  • Segmental static palpation
  • Intersegmental motion palpation
  • Spinal surface thermography assessment
  • Orthopaedic and neurological tests

After the examination, you will be scheduled for a conference to discuss the examination findings, how CORRECTIVE CHIROPRACTIC can help you, and your customised recommendations for care.

At CORRECTIVE CHIROPRACTIC, we are not expecting to find perfect spines. The Specific Segmental Corrective Chiropractic Examination helps us to identify segmental abnormalities which may be the underlying cause to a host of Secondary Conditions.
